As a former teacher turned homeschooling mom, I love creating homeschooling resources to use in our schooling. Some of these stand on their own, but others are used to supplement our curriculum. One thing that they all have in common is that are generally created with a multi-sensory approach in mind. Why? well, I have an amazing kid that struggles with learning due to ADHD, dyslexia and dysgraphia. A multi-sensory approach is a great way for him to learn because it works on getting information to the brain using multiple sensory outlets. Is this approach only for kids with learning difficulties – absolutely not! In fact, a multi-sensory approach to learning is great for everyone and a very natural way to learn.
